Avocat, doctor în drept, Mihaela Mocanu este redactor-șef al Revistei Române de Drept al Afacerilor din 2012. Este absolventă a Facultății de Drept din cadrul Universității "Babeș-Bolyai" din Cluj-Napoca, unde a susținut teza de doctorat cu titlul „Contractul de franciză” în toamna anului 2007. Autor al volumului „Franciza, francizarea. Ghid practic”, care a apărut pe piață prima dată în 2013 prefațat de domnul Bogdan Chirițoiu, președintele Consiliului Concurenței, ajuns la cea de-a 2-a ediție. Specializată în dreptul pieței de artă, Mihaela este autoarea unor numeroase articole care răspund întrebărilor teoretice și practice în domeniu, având vocația de a pune bazele unei doctrine a dreptului artei în spațiul românesc.
