Writing is easy. What’s actually difficult is to prepare for it. This preliminary stage consists, in fact, in reading. If you don’t have the time to read, you will not have the time – and more importantly, the tools – to write. One’s writing style is the reflection of one’s readings. The power of literature (legal, but especially non-legal) is slowly leaving its mark on us and, over time, stimulates us to write better.

Try to explain things (the facts of a case, for example) as if the reader would know nothing about it, but also has not much time to read. Because of this, complicated things should be explained as simply as possible. Keywords:

There are many writing techniques but none is magical. I think the writing style is personal in the first place, and only thereafter it does become technical. There is, however, a common denominator in everything: enthusiasm, whether you are a writer every day or not.
